Te Arai Links is a world class Golf Estate comprising two golf courses, accommodation, a restaurant, and several private homes.
JWA worked in association with Studio John Irving Architects and Jenni Kayne, to complete the detailed design and delivery for the Suites – the luxury visitor accommodation overlooking the South Course.
The design emphasises integration with the natural environment. Intentionally simple and humble, finishes draw on a natural colour palette inspired by weathered driftwood, sand, and native vegetation.
The interiors, by Jenni Kayne, combine beauty, functionality and authenticity to create spaces that are calm, relaxing and provide enduring comfort. The design complements the architectural vision with a California-inspired aesthetic adapted to the New Zealand environment.
