This highly technical project delivers a full surgery, recovery rooms and flexible multi-use consulting rooms, while minimising the downtime to the surgery’s operations. A highly innovative procurement model, and extremely close collaboration between the design team and contractor, allowed for fully prefabricated off site construction, overnight transportation to this site, and only 5 weeks downtime from demolition of the previous facility to full commissioning of the new surgery.

JWA worked closely with Macrennie Construction to develop the construction details and material selections required for off-site and transportable building design, delivering the project on time and on budget.

Interior spaces include reception/arrival room, medical rooms and surgery rooms, recovery spaces, physio rooms and multi-function areas.
